This gallery displays photos of the moon, or scenic pictures including the moon as an obvious element. These pictures
were made in northwest Montana and show the moon in various phases and during eclipse. We do not have a telescope; these
pictures were taken with one of our Canon EOS lenses. See our Gear page for equipment details.

The February full moon, shot through Ponderosa pines on our property about an hour before sunrise.
The first quarter moon in late August, after the sun had set beyond the Salish Mountains west of our home in Montana.
