Beartooth Mountains, Wyoming, U.S.

We visited, and camped in, the Beartooth Mountains in September of 2013. It's an amazing and beautiful area of high mountains, clear lakes, and often dramatic skies, located in south-central Montana and northwest Wyoming. Access is via the Beartooth Highway (closed in winter).
