Night Sky

The pictures in this gallery are of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Such photos will often include stars and planets, possibly meteorites, satellites, and other objects that glow in the night sky.

We have a separate gallery for photos of the moon, including eclipses, full moon images, and more. We also have a small gallery of other night sky pictures, although that gallery exists mainly for experimental photos as we learn more about making them.
